Levels Of Care

Outpatient: Outpatient services are also available. Both group and individual counseling is available on an outpatient basis. Additionally, educational groups and relapse prevention are available through Outpatient services. All services are driven by an individual treatment plan, which guides the frequency and duration of services. Codependency counseling is offered to significant others, wives, family of consumers. Anger management classes are offered at each location when there are enough consumer requests to warrant developing a group. Medically Assisted Detox: Detoxification or “Detox” is designed to assist the client with managing the initial symptoms of intoxication and withdrawal from alcohol and other drugs. Clients may admit themselves for detox voluntarily, however we also accept court-ordered 96-hour holds. The treatment accepts both men and women. Clients are closely monitored by detox staff and the client’s vital signs are taken at regular intervals. Activities for the client in detox include: rest, educational videos and educational groups. Family members or significant others who wish to speak to staff to check on the status of the client may do so as long as the client has signed a release naming the person who wishes to call. Intensive Outpatient: Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs. Inpatient: Turning Point Recovery Centers offers gender specific residential program. Both programs are variable length program based on consumer needs. Consumers are in a highly structured setting. A typical day may include attending groups, individual counseling, group education, group counseling and structured activities. Consumers in residential treatment also have access to 12-Step support meetings. Family members are encouraged to participate in the consumer’s treatment through attending Family Groups on Sundays and family conferences with a counselor while the consumer is in treatment. Family members are also encouraged to participate in local Al-Anon groups for support. Sober Living Homes: Sober Living Houses (SLHs), aka sober homes or halfway houses, are safe, substance-free, supportive living facilities for those recovering from substance abuse. Ideal for those who\'ve just been through inpatient or outpatient treatment, SLHs are supervised environments with rules that support sobriety, such as curfews, shared chores, and therapeutic meetings. Residents are also often trained on life skills and coping skills to make it easier to transition into society. SLHs also provide a strong sense of community that can lead to the kind of deep and lasting connections with other sober individuals that supports a new, healthy lifestyle.

Clinical Services

Family Therapy: Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation. Group Therapy: Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members. Individual Therapy: In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Detail

Alcoholism: The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings. Opioid Addiction: Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction. Substance Abuse: Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.
